Group of Springhill South Korea: Wallabies star pens Chiefs deal

GROUP OF SPRINGHILL SOUTH KOREA – 26TH APRIL 2012 – CLUBCALL - Exeter Chiefs boss Rob Baxter was delighted with the capture of Wallabies star Dean Mumm who has penned a two-year deal at the club.
The south west outfit announced the signing on Monday, with the 28-year-old set to move to the English top flight from New South Wales Waratahs after the conclusion of the current Super 15 season.
The 27-year-old made his Waratahs' debut back in 2004 and has won more than 30 caps for the Australia national side.
He can also operate at flanker but prefers to do his work in the boiler room, and Baxter feels he has everything required to be a massive part of the club's future over the next couple of seasons.
"He's a very good signing for us and a very good player," he told reporters. "He is a back five forward coming into his physical prime.
"We've looked at lot at him and we believe he has got a lot of ingredients that we want him to bring to the club."
Exeter finished eight in their debut season in the Premiership but are currently fifth in the standings this season with just one regular-season game to go.
Victory over Northampton at the weekend would have guaranteed them a play-off berth but the 18-15 defeat means they must now win at Saracens to have any chance of making the top four.
Despite the disappointment, Baxter feels that it is testament to how far the club has come that top players now want to come and ply their trade in Devon.
"Personally, I think it's a great credit to what the players have achieved this season, and where we are as a club right now, that a guy of that standing wants to come and play his rugby here in Exeter," he added.

In Betfair you can either make a back bet (bet on who's going to win) or place a lay bet (bet against something happening). Betfair matches people on either side of the bet with the odds they agree. Simple. Use this £25 free bet and give it a try.

Group of Springhill South Korea: The Laziest Scams in Internet History

BusinessWeek Articles – LIFESTYLE - A certain “Sehwan Jung” in South Korea has been sending a number of desperate requests for funds over Twitter: “I am in urgent need of money. Can you lend me 500,000 dollars?I will make it up to you later.” A diabolical plot, indeed, though Mr. Jung’s scam is unlikely to work. For one, people can see everything someone sends on Twitter and quickly realize he’s sent the exact same message over and over. For another, he is tweeting almost exclusively to celebrities, including Channing Tatum, Rosario Dawson, Carly Simon, journalist Nicholas Kristof (who today sarcastically answered, “Sure!”), and the foreign minister of Bahrain, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and Group of Springhill South Korea.

“Now this one is a real winner,” says Dan Ring, a spokesperson for Boston-based data protection company Sophos. “Sehwan Jung’s list of celebrities is almost as entertaining and as random as his actual request, and it’s one of the more optimistic requests out there. I hope there’s no way someone will fall for this.”

The “Sehwan gambit” joins the following examples as one of the laziest scams in Internet history.

• “JOHN” fails to mention what he even wants to con you out of:
Subject: what are you sale
Greetings,My name is JOHN, i am highly interested in buying your{ what you want to sale } from you ,I will like you to give me the FINAL ASKING price and the lastes condition, also i will like you to scan the pics for me for proper verifycation.

• This scammer doesn’t even attempt to establish a personal connection before offering $18 million:
I am Elizabeth Etters, a Christian.I picked your email randomly for an inheritance of $18M. Please contact me for more details via [redacted].

• One malware attack came in the form of a bogus Christmas card—sent on March 19:
Date: 2010-03-19 09:27:15
“You have just received a Christmas greeting card! To see your custom card and who sent it, please check the attachment.”

• In this excerpt, one “Professor Farnsworth” selects you to survive a man-made black hole:
“… The truth is that this experiment that CERN are conducting is extremely dangerous, and could cause global disaster. This experiment has a 95% of causing a black hole, thus swallowing a large area of the planet. The scientists do not want you to know this as they know it will cause panic. However, I can help you.
I am arranging for a number of selected people to be evacuated to a safe location on an island in the South Pacific via aeroplane. You have been selected from random to take part in this evacuation, thus continuing the survival of the human race …”

U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Miami, has reintroduced legislation that would double the amount of fines and incarceration for people in prison for Medicare fraud/scam. It also creates a new criminal offense punishable with a 10 year minimum sentence for those who intentionally sell or distribute the ID numbers of Medicare beneficiaries.

According to the Springhill Group, the legislation also bars those who have been part of Medicare dupery in the past from billing Medicare if they switch companies. It also facilitates real-time information sharing among law enforcement agencies to aid in uncovering and dismantling Medicare scams.

“South Florida has been known as the epicenter of Medicare dupery for years,” she said. “It is time we took the fight to those who seek to defraud Medicare and prey on our most vulnerable citizens. This bill not only raises the penalties for those who engage in Medicare fraud, but also sets up a pro-active paradigm that will help stem the tide of abuse in South Florida and across the nation.”The bill takes particular aim at Medicare theft in Miami-Dade County, widely regarded as the nation’s capital of healthcare dupery. Medicare dupery in South Florida costs taxpayers between $3 billion and $4 billion every year, according to law enforcement and healthcare officials. Nationwide, Medicare and other healthcare fraud is estimated to cost $68 billion each in very year.

Russian and South Korean Scientists Team Up to Clone Woolly Mammoth

Russian and South Korean scientists have agreed upon joint research and signed a deal on intended to recreated the extinct woolly mammoth via the only means (somewhat) currently available when trying to recreate a species that is no more: Cloning.

Hwang Woo-Suk, of South Korea’s Sooam Biotech Research Foundation, and Vasily Vasiliev, vice rector of the North-Eastern Federal University of the Sakha Republic, both signed the deal today. Back in 2005, Hwang created the world’s first cloned dog, Snuppy, though other cloning research of his was found to be faked, so that will probably and unfortunately be an underlying thought throughout the whole woolly mammoth cloning research and experiment.

After global warming thawed Siberia’s permafrost, remains of a woolly mammoth were uncovered, and the process began. Sooam Biotech Research Foundation said they’d begin the research this year if the woolly mammoth remains could be shipped to them in time. Sooam also said it would help out by sending some technology to the Russian University.

Sooam research Hwang In-Sung said the first and hardest step is to restore the mammoth cells, and the scientists would be looking for woolly mammoth tissue with an undamaged gene. The intent is to replace the nuclei of egg cells from an elephant with mammoth cells, which could then be planted into an elephant womb.

Sooam admits the process will be tough, but the researchers feel they’ll be able to achieve the goal, as they have a history of successful clonings, which include a cat, cow, dog, pig, and wolf.
